What to Have Ready When You Call
A short call gets help moving faster. If you can, have the following on hand:
- Where the truck is — highway, mile marker, exit, or address
- What the truck is — make, model, and the trailer if there is one
- What happened — warning lights, noises, what it was doing when it quit
- A callback number in case the call drops

After-Hours Service Truck
The shop runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, but trucks don't break on a schedule — the service truck runs 24/7. Grit's after-hours service truck extends the shop past its own walls — the same operation that maintains and repairs commercial trucks in the bay, brought to where the truck sits.
